I have a 1992 honda civic with DX with a v-tec swap not sure what specific number just know it is a v-tec. what would be the best path to start out on with replacing part for better ones.

depends on what type of motor it is. b series or d series. but you can never go wrong with doing a full exhaust and header combo, and cold air intake to open it up a little. that will give you slightly better throttle response. and do some suspension work, a slight drop with some aftermarket struts, to make it look and handle a little better. it all depends on how far you actually want to go with it. 92-95 civics are cheap to upgrade.

Have you though about how much hp your goal is.you can do a lot to civics.there are a lot of aftermarket parts available.
