Not sure exactly which is your car, The 2000 Integra, or the EX Civic, either way there are plenty of choices depending on your funds and how mechanically inclined you are, if your pulling a VTEC single cam motor already you might as well go with any of the B-series motors or if you have the funds venture to a K Series, I run a JDM B16A and love the motor, I would probably just build the motor that is in your Acura,.
Good luck RedlineEG

my car is an 2000 Acura 1.6 EL the integra 4 doors was discontinued in 96 and replace by the 1.6 EL in canada it's just like a civic not an Integra anyway a K series engine is out of my price and honestly I prefer the B series less expensive for the same performance

true but for almost the same price I've found a b18c with 210hp againt a k20a with 220hp 4200$ for the B18c Type R and 5750$ for the K20A in fact with 1550$ I got only 10hp more worst for 150 and maybe a little bit more I can get 10 to 15hp more with a cold air intake!

yo yo hey since you are familiar with the B16A i had a question for you. i have a 95 del sol si vtec automatic(bummer, i know), and the engine is shot to hell with over 200k miles. i was considering swapping a B16A or H22A, obviously it has to be a 95' due to obd1. if you are familiar with hmotorsonline, would the B16A complete change over or the H22A complete change over fit right in to my del sol? taking in consideration that i have an auto.

take the b16a the H22 is too heavy for your car even my 1.6 EL can't take this engine for the same reason you can put that engine but you have to change your suspension and brakes the good thing with the H22 it's a less expensice than a B series still take the b16a it's better for your car and the HANDLING

I agree I would stay away from the h22.I would go with the gsr althou.stronger motor and has a lil more hp than b16.but then again I did know someone who put a h22 in a crx and 2 hatches.

I'm refering to the oem specs.not any motors that have been modified.and you cannot get 10-15 hp from any cold air intake out on the market.at the most 5 And that's if u get lucky

I knew people who put H22 on a EL 07-00 just like mine I heard that the car is really fast with this engine but the cornering decrease drasticly for a big car like an accord or a crv no problem it's made for heavy ass cars still if the engine wasn't heavy for sure I'll buy it less expensive and have more power than any B series I decide to eliminte the B16A on my engine choice due to it's lack of power now it's between the GS-R and the Type R spec R still if you have some info about B series engines I still open to suggestions
