Im going to be swapping a JDM B18C in my '98 civic dx hatch, and I was wondering what am I gonna need for this swap and if there was anything I could do to get this engine to pass smog? I pulled the engine straight out of a JDM '98 ITR.

Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Besides the motor axles shift linkage.possibly replace motor mounts.hasport has strong ones.ecu you will also need jumper depending on what obd you car has.and the wiring will have to be done as well also for vtec.if ur in ca ur car won't pass smog cause jdm motors cannot pass smog out here in ca.just some stuff quick off of my head gl

It depends of you budget bro. I got the same swap what i did was, civic 99 si shift linckage, and engine mounts with energy suspensions inserts (upgrading to hashport), Civic 99 si or integra GSR axels, JUN P28 with custom harness, you can use both harness to make one, *** make sure you take it to some electrionic mechanic that KNOWS HONDAS!!!!! I recomend buy a AEM hibrid intake, they fit perfect for swaps. Any question PM me
